About

When life throws you an unexpected curve, where do you turn? For many women, navigating mental health and relationship challenges can feel scary, confusing, and lonely. As a minister and counselor, I understand how hard it can be to ask for help, and I’m committed to giving you a safe space to share your story, explore your hurts, and find hope for the path forward.
Over more than twenty years in ministry, I’ve sat with scores of teens and women who feel anxious about their future, are struggling with fertility issues, or have faced hurt from their faith community. For some, even beginning to think about finding a way out of the struggle can seem like an impossible task.
At Zoe Counseling Center, I believe that we all possess the ability to understand and heal from our hurts, understand ourselves and our relationships, and make concrete action steps that move us toward a better future. I use an eclectic approach to counseling and utilize therapeutic techniques and interventions from CBT, DBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In a nutshell, I’m always on the lookout for new treatment options that help my clients achieve their mental health goals.
